1. What is the teaching methodology behind your programs?

We break down the most complex subject into its simplest format and teach successful test taking strategies and various ways to attack hard subjects.

DantesTestPrep breaks down even the hardest subject so it becomes easy to comprehend and recall. We believe that repetition leads to mastery. With great tutors and memory aids, our students study more effectively. Many of our students get prepared for DANTES exams in half the time required for self- study.

3. How can a prep-course help me?

Tutoring for specific subjects is generally designed to assist students in lower-level and upper-level courses. Depending on the subject, if a student is having trouble understanding a concept or needs help preparing for a DANTES or CLEP exam, we can substantially increase his or her comprehension of the material; therefore substantially increasing the success rate of passing the class or exam.

We currently have a 90% passage rate for students who successfully complete our prep-courses for DANTES and CLEP examinations. Additionally, we believe so strongly in our study methods, we offer a money back guarantee (see our guarantee policy).

You have nothing to lose and college credits to gain.

4. Once I'm accepted into a program, how will I benefit?

As with anything else, you'll get out of life what you put into it. If you take advantage of all that DantesTestPrep has to offer, it is highly likely that you will experience great success and accelerate your academic goals. We save you time.

Whether we are helping you prepare for a DANTES test or helping you with a math test, DantesTestPrep students have consistently achieved higher grade point averages and passing DANTES scores than other students. DantesTestPrep students are more confident in their subject matter and see an immediate improvement in their performance.

5. Must I register before class and make a non-refundable deposit?

Yes. We have limited seating available and limit our class size so we can give individualized attention to our students. Registering before class with a non-refundable deposit reserves your space and confirms your seriousness about achieving your academic goals.

6. Do I need an appointment to register for a prep course?

Yes.  The appointment can be conducted over the phone or in person.  We qualify every student to confirm we can help them achieve their academic goals – each student is accessed on a case-by-case basis.

Classes for specific courses are conducted monthly and seating is limited. After the initial appointment, students requesting a guaranteed seat for a prep course or wish to work with a tutor individually are required to register. Please see our registration process.

7. How are the DANTES Math Prep Courses Structured?

If a student is accepted into one of our prep courses, he or she will be placed into a course based on their current level of math. Level I prep courses are for beginners while level II are for the more advanced. Classes for math typically last 10 to15 days conducted on weekends and evenings and allow for independent studies between classes.

8. What does DantesTestPrep expect of its students?

We have lots of experience in working with adult students, and over the years we've learned a few things. We know that students who take responsibility for their own academic success do the best in our programs.
We will strongly encourage DantesTestPrep students to do the following:

• Focus on what it means to be academically accountable: meet with your coach, be on time to the prep courses, review your notes, and let us assist you with problems or questions early, not later.
• Take advantage of DantesTestPrep programs. We are here to help you, and everyone is welcome at all times.
